Payment Options

Tillsonburg Hydro offers many ways to pay your bill. Learn about the different options below and choose the one that’s right for you!

To avoid interest charges or service interruptions, ensure you allow sufficient time for the payment to reach us by the due date.

Pre-authorized payment

Learn how to sign up for pre-authorized payments and we will automatically deduct the amount owing from your bank account on a set schedule.

With pre-authorized payments, we continue to send a bill statement every month that details your account charges.

Pay online or by phone through your financial institution

You may also choose to pay your bill through your bank, trust company or other financial institution using their online banking or pay-by-phone service.

To set up payment through your financial institution, ensure you:

  • Add Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. as a payee through your financial institution's online or telephone banking system
  • Enter your 10-digit Tillsonburg Hydro account number where prompted
  • Print a copy of your payment and/or record your payment's confirmation number to get your proof of payment
  • Allow up to three days for processing

Pay in-person at your financial institution's branch office

You can also pay your hydro bill at most financial institutions’ local branch offices. Check with your own provider to see if they offer in-person bill payments.

To pay at the branch office, ensure you:

  • Bring your remittance stub (the upper portion of your bill) showing your 10-digit Tillsonburg Hydro account number
  • Keep your stamped receipt as proof of payment
  • Allow one week for processing

Pay in-person at our Customer Service Centre

You can pay your hydro bill at the Tillsonburg Customer Service Centre, located at 10 Lisgar Ave. during business hours (Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays).

We accept payment via cash, cheque, debit or credit card. Please bring your remittance stub (the upper portion of your bill) with you when you arrive.

Pay by mail

You can pay hydro bill by mail using a certified cheque, made payable to Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. We do not accept cash through the mail. 

When paying by mail, please ensure you:

  • Include your remittance stub (the upper portion of your bill) with your payment
  • Include your 10-digit account number on your cheque
  • Allow one week for processing

Pay by credit card (to avoid disconnection)

To avoid service disconnection, we offer emergency credit card payments through Paymentus, a third-party credit card processing agent.

Make a credit card payment with Paymentus or call 1-877-506-3114 for support. Please note, additional service fees will apply when making a payment.
