New Customer Choice Pricing
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) announced that electricity prices under the Regulated Price Plan (RPP) for households, small business and farms will increase as of November 1, 2023.
Residential, small business and farm customers can choose their price plan, either TOU, ULO or
Tiered. Customers who don’t want to switch their price plan don’t need to do anything. They will stay on
their current price plan.
The OEB has a webpage and bill calculator to help customers who may be considering a switch in their
electricity price plan. For more information, see oeb.ca/choice.
The Ontario government’s Ontario Electricity Rebate will change to 19.3%.
